1.6 Understand the anatomy, physiology and pathologies of the skeletal system

Skeletal system
Section learning outcomes

The student will be able to:
-Name and locate the bones of the body
-Describe the structure, function and development of bone
-Describe the structure, function and location of a variety of joints in the body
-Understand the names of anatomical positions

The learner will be able to:
• Explain the overall role of the Skeletal system in relation to the other systems of the body
